Locomotives

It is the locomotive that first catches our eye. From the snorting steam locomotive to the rumbling diesel to the quiet hum of the electric, it is the locomotive that makes things happen.

Pictured above is the first Arnold locomotive, possibly their model number 0200, part of the very early Arnold 200 product line that would later be replaced by the Arnold rapido line.  Note the overall crude character of this engine; from this rough beginning would evolve a line of fine model trains.
