Hooppole, Yorktown and Tampico Railroad caboose 14638 started life as a Burlington NE-1 caboose. Sold to the HY&T, it retained its CB&Q road number, with "HY&T" stencilled on the car sides under the Burlington reporting mark.
In the background, the remains of the HY&T's passenger car, in serious disrepair.
The HY&T apparently did not have cars used in interchange service with other railroads, although cars from other roads were hauled on the HY&T.
